How do the Online Courses Work?

You are able to study at your own pace when it’s most convenient for you to do so. Upon signup, you’ll receive access to instant video streaming, training manual and eBooks. In addition, you will have access to online assistance 7 days a week as well as any updated or new streaming video content that gets added to our site.

You get to work through each module until such time as you have mastered the skills contained in it before moving to the next one. However, you are allowed to ask as many questions as you like throughout the duration of the course.

You are also allowed to go through a subject as quickly as you are comfortable with doing – some students take between 2 and 3 weeks to master a subject. With our courses, there is no time limit regarding how long you can take to finish the modules.

Is Any Prior Experience Required in the Beauty Industry?

You will be pleased to know that there are no prerequisites in this regard for any of our course modules. All of our courses have been formulated for people who don’t have any prior beauty industry experience and they have been put together in such a way that these people can enter the beauty industry as quickly and affordably as possible. All of our DVDs and training materials explain everything clearly and simply from beginning to end.

What if I Struggle to Grasp a Concept?

All of our subjects have a detailed FAQ section of their own, which will cover the most commonly asked questions. However, you will also have access to unlimited assistance online 7 days a week if you cannot find an answer to your question or concern. We are willing to work with you until such time as you have comfortably mastered the sections that you have been struggling with.

Must I do Assignments and Exams?

Although assignments aren’t required for our courses, there are a few minimum practical requirements (MPR) that you will need to meet for each subject. Upon reaching the MPR and you feel confident with your skills; you will need to sit one theory exam to obtain your Certificate. This tests understanding of the practical and theory sections of our course. Exams are open book and have no time limit. However, we do expect students to obtain 100%. We won’t fail you, but if we aren’t happy with any of your answers, you will need to answer them again until you get them right. If you don’t need a Certificate, there is no need to take the exam.

Will I be Accredited or Qualified?

This depends on where you are located in the world. Our Certificate is valid and legal anywhere in New Zealand, as well as many other countries, and it will enable you to start your own beauty business or work in a salon. If you are outside New Zealand, you may need to check locally to determine whether any registration, licencing or other formal qualifications will be needed.

Must I Complete All of the Subjects?

Although it will be most financially viable to purchase all 6 subjects that we have to offer, you can purchase one or as many of the modules as you like individually as well. However, the more you purchase; the more money you will save. While all of our courses are designed as standalone entities, they do all complement each other. This means that the more sills you learn, the more profitable your beauty business will become over time.

How Will I be able to Practice my Skills?

All of this will be explained in our courses. You will need to find models in order to attain your practical requirements – these can be friends, family or anyone else who will be willing to be a model for you. We do suggest that you try to find models that have had these services performed at a professional salon before. This will enable them to provide you with comparative feedback.

Is a Guarantee Available?

We do offer 30 day money back no questions asked guarantees. All you need to do if you are not completely satisfied is let us know you intend cancelling and return the DVDs to us so that they are received within the 30 day cancellation period – please also refer to our Terms and Conditions in this regard. If you request a refund, you will also lose access to all of our online resources.

Should I Purchase Individual Subjects or the Complete Course?

You will most certainly get the best value for money when purchasing the Full Course – in fact, you will save more than 30% compared to purchasing each module separately. However, this also depends on what your end goal is. If you would like to master a full skill set and maximise your earning capacity, it is strongly recommended that you learn and master all 6 modules covered in our Full Course. In cases where you only need to learn the skills outlined in 1 or 2 subjects, and then simply purchase the ones you need. You will obtain a 5% discount when purchasing 2 subjects. We have noticed though that many people purchase 1 subject, only to come back later and purchase more, meaning it often makes more financial sense to purchase the full course upfront.
